• Advised a regulated Malaysian investment vehicle on asset acquisition of oil-producing assets worth US$ 250 mln. in Kazakhstan;• Advised a private investor from Canada on the sale of gold mining assets in Kazakhstan estimated US$ 150 mln.; procuring relevant regulatory approvals and waivers from the Government;• Advised lenders (multilaterals, exims, development institutions) on the US$ 4.2 bln project finance transaction for construction and operation of the greenfield Surgil Petrochemical Facilities at Ustyurt Region, including direct investment agreement with Uzbekistan Government with significant deal of tax, customs, payment and other incentives, finance and facility documents, political risk guarantee, and security structure;• Advised and acted for the investors consortium consisting of a major Malaysian governmental corporation and a South-African private corporation on the establishment of a joint venture with Uzbekneftegaz for production of GTL products in Uzbekistan worth US$ 3.5 bln.;• Advised a leading Singaporean petrochemical corporation on the US$ 2.5 bln. investment project to construct and operate a Petrochemical Facility on the Moubarak gas field;• Advised a major Chinese governmental bank on project financing and security matters for the US$ 3.5 bln. multi-jurisdictional Turkmenistan-Uzbekistan-Kazakhstan-China Gas Pipeline;• Advised a major Malaysian national petroleum corporation on upstream petroleum contract (JSA, Exploration Agreements, PSAs) with total investment of US$2.5 bln.;• Advised and acted for a major American car-maker on Investment Agreements with Government, distribution and sales arrangements, and technology licensing for the acquisition, establishment and start-up operations of the Vehicle Plant and Powertrain plant worth US$ 1.5 bln.;• Acted for a major Korean national petroleum corporation in the drafting and implementation of two Exploration Agreements in Ferghana Region with a work program worth US$ 120 mln.
