Volunteer – Unloaded trucks receiving food from stores, processing and verifying the food was good, not spoiled or expired. We had to verify everything arrived sealed and edible. Scheduled route to deliver food to people who were disabled and elderly every two weeks. Assisted in the process of food selection for the clients including healthy choices and the proper nutrients needed. Continually worked on projects to better the community outreach and wrote a letter to community organizations encouraging them to donate either milk, or money to purchase milk for donation.
