Leadership Programme Manager at McKinsey & Company
-
Jan 2011 - Jan 2014
-
Johannesburg Area, South Africa
In this role I was called upon by the McKinsey Johannesburg office to design, manage and implement a leadership program aimed at accelerating the leadership development of talented black South Africans. I was intimately involved in the coaching and mentorship of all participants on this program. I also delivered leadership workshops to colleagues and clients of the firm. My key contribution in this role would have been increasing the office's diversity and inclusivity, pioneering a never-before-done program in a very competitive environment with unprecedented success and contributing to the accelerated talent development of really exceptional profiles (visioning, goal setting, building professional profiles and connecting into the next career track).

Regional Programme Manager (Gauteng)
-
Jan 2009 - Dec 2010
My role at AGOF was to manage the leadership and entrepreneurship development program in the Gauteng region. I was responsible for Wits University, University of Johannesburg and the University of Pretoria. I was also responsible for coaching and mentoring 3rd year and honours students on the program at all three universities. In my role as regional manager for the Gauteng region of the program I will be remembered for pushing for the scholarship program to have more of a pan-African outlook in the curriculum.
