In this role I was responsible for managing contracts from cradle to grave throughout the procurement process throughout and the contacts life span, as a forward facing role I ensured there was clear and concise communication within the teams. Planning and coordinating complex tenders, carrying out negotiation, all within strict time scales. Managing the contracts daily to ensure that projects were delivered on time and working closely with project managers and suppliers, looking at innovation and new ways of working.Target driven I worked to drive down the cost to the business and making an individual saving of £960,000 in 2007 with a team saving of £12M in the same period, my portfolio was worth in excess of £19M. In 2005 we came runner up in the CIPS Supply Chain Management Awards.I work on my own initiate, and as part of a team, I was involved in various projects internally and with my suppliers.
