Subsidiaries included Bigheart Pipe Line Corporation and 3 manufacturing companies. In accordance with estate planning, Sooner, Bigheart and other operating companies were transitioned into new ownership. Directed accounting and administrative functions for parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies in both domestic and foreign locales. Represented Sooner in a major sales tax "test" case for tubular and oilfield products used in offshore Louisiana that was successfully settled in the Company's favor. New sales tax legislation was written following the test case that had a significant and favorable impact of the petroleum and supply industries.
