    Reporting to the Director, Banking, the scope and responsibilities include coordinating the banking activities of the Government of Alberta, on behalf of all Ministries and Agencies who utilize banking services. Act as a primary liaison with the government's financial institution partners. Provide oversight for the banking unit's administration and operations. Participate in project work related to the modernization of banking and payments systems. Provide supervisory oversight of the Consolidated Cash Investment Trust Fund an investment structure with over 250 participants investing in excess of four billion dollars. Monitor/approve the opening, closing and amendment of all bank accounts held by Ministries, Agencies and Crown Corporations held in major financial institutions in Canada and the U.S. Provide advice and recommendations to departments regarding their banking arrangements. Provide oversight for records, on-line banking access and control and signing authorities. Work with key departments to facilitate improvements and changes in banking policies and best practices.

The nature of EHR Deployment involves significant change to the workflow and environments of health care providers and therefore change management presents a significant challenge. Client Registry and Provider Registry Privacy Impacts Assessments (PIA). Capacity of supporting applications:I managed the data integrity and the day to day operations of the Provincial Client Registry (PCR), Person Directory (PD) and the 27 downstream applications that collect, use or disclose person demographic data within the Ministry including the Pharmacy Information Network (PIN) application. The PCR housed over 15.3 million person records collected from the Ministry and regional Alberta Health Services (AHS) registration systems. There are 6.8 million unique person identities managed within the PCR of which 3.7 million person records are insured Alberta residents, as defined under the Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan. The PCR processes over 76 million add/update person demographic transactions annually.
