Purpose of Job:• R&D: Research and develop ideas for new products and production systems. Train employees as needed on applicable quality standards. • Identify the root causes of quality problems and institute corrective actions such as changes to work instructions, generation of “Engineering Change Orders”, installation of fixtures and equipment, changes to inspection analyses and changes to process procedures. Document all the above in accordance with quality standards.• Specify, purchase, implement, and maintain IT systems: workstations, servers, VoIP phone system, websites, manufacturing equipment, and test equipment.
