    Youth Services of Tulsa is a non-profit agency with a 7.8 million-dollar budget. As the Finance Director I am responsible for all financial aspects for the agency.This includes:• Generating the monthly financial reports, AR, AP, cash flow, tracking of the endowments, federal, state, grant and contract reporting, and all Board and Executive Committee reporting.• Financial support for the development department, this includes creating and reporting all the financial aspects of federal, state, corporate and foundation grant requests. Recording and reconciling all donations made to the agency. I also provide support for all fund-raising events.• Preparation and reporting for the annual audit, 990 Tax return, 5500 Flexible Spending and the annual workers compensation payroll audit.• Developed a new accounting system for YST, tracking revenue and expenses by funding sources.• Serve as the benefit administrator.• Serve as the Facility Director of 2 campuses, 5 apartment buildings, maintenance shop, and a storage building. This includes all IT services, building utility and maintenance coordination, in kind donation retrieval and program usage, and coordinating with apartment management firm.• Supervise administrative and maintenance staff.

    Tulsa Ballet Theatre, Inc. is a non-profit professional ballet company with a 2.6 million-dollar budget. As the Finance Director I managed the accounting functions of the organization. This included:• Generating the monthly financial reports, AR, AP, cash flow, tracking of the endowment, and all Board and Executive Committee reporting.• Financial support for the development department, this includes creating and reporting all the financial aspects of corporate and foundation grant requests. I also provide support for all fund-raising events.• Compiling and reporting to each department their portion of the budget including forecasts of future activity and detailed reports of past activity. • Preparation and reporting for the annual audit, 990 Tax return, 5500 Flexible Spending and the annual workers compensation payroll audit.• Developed a new accounting system for the ballet, tracking revenue and expenses by productions and programs.• Developed and brought in-house the entire payroll function, implemented direct deposit, and all payroll tax reporting. I also served as the benefit administrator.

    Wichita Festivals is the non-profit organization that produces the annual Wichita River Festival. The Wichita River Festival is a ten-day community celebration that encompasses 95 events, merchandise/button programs, food service, and a development department. As the Director of Finance, I was responsible for all the financial aspects of the organization. This included:• All accounting functions, including generate monthly financials reports, AR, AP, payroll, cash flow, work papers for the 990, audit, and all committee reporting.• Staff liaison to four committees: Finance - oversees all financial aspects of the organization. Merchandise – developed, produced and sold the yearly merchandise program. Button – developed and produced the program that sold over 156,000 buttons in the Wichita area. Food Tickets – recruits companies and volunteers to sell $500,000 of food coupons during the 10-day festival.• Analyzed all 95 events individually with executive director and director of events including sponsorship needs and event expenses. This also included reporting back to the corporate sponsors on how their money was spent.• Developed the operating budget and tracking for each area including promotions, sponsorship, event expenses, G&A, food service, merchandise, and volunteers.
