    Michael Burgeson is a Debris Project/Operations Manager for Witt O’Brien’s. In his most recent position, Michael performed as the Island Operations Lead in Saint Croix, US Virgin Islands. In this role he supported as many as 8 projects simultaneously, with over 130 staff members on multiple Islands, working directly with and reporting to the Witt O’Brien’s Operations Team, based in Houston, TX. His project leadership roles include debris monitoring operations in Florida, Georgia, Texas and the USVI following Hurricanes Hermine, Matthew, Harvey, and Irma/Maria, as well as a severe ice storm in Tulsa, OK. Michael was also part of multiple debris monitoring projects in Louisiana for Hurricane Gustav. Prior to joining Witt O’Brien’s, Michael worked in supervisory field roles at ER Assist Inc., and Solid Resources, Inc., where he provided short and long term disaster relief management services for multiple and individual sites at the county level. As a Field Supervisor at Solid Resources, he supervised debris monitors, hired and trained employees andmonitored debris removal truck activity to ensure compliance with FEMA procedures.
