    A professor in college encouraged me to work in a field that would be of interest. I chose Floral Design. I mean who doesn't think that sounds like an awesome job? With no experience I managed to make it a reality. When I graduated, my father asked . . "So when are you going to start your own floral business?" My answer " I'm not sure I'm ready." His response " Why not?". The rest is history.With a goal of being open in time for the busiest floral holiday of the year: I found a location, secured financing, bought all my supplies and opened my doors. As a one woman shop for the first 3 years, I was the designer, delivery driver, purchaser, book keeper, marketing director, you name it!In 2009 my husband and I chose to leave California and explore a new life in Idaho. Thus I had to make the difficult decision to close my doors. Those were some really rewarding times!
