      I run a yarn store carrying professionally produced yarns as well as our own alpaca yarns, mill-spun and handspun, as well. We carry Ashford and soon Louet spinning wheels, as well as accessories for spinning, knitting, crochet. We have a large collection of rovings, including some from our own alpacas. We have a series of classes in knitting, crochet, and spinning. We have get-togethers every Wednesday night from 6-8 p.m. as well as one on the first Saturday of each month from 11-2 p.m. We are getting involved in the community of fiber artists of all types.

      My husband, Dave, and I have 78 alpacas, with extremely fine fiber. We also have 30 goats, milk and meat. We have 12 sheep, one Corriedale, 4 ewes crossed with Corriedale, Cormo, and Rambouillet. We recently purchased a Zwartbles/BFL ram, who threw 3 black and one white lamb, all with superior fleece! The wool will be sold as fiber, and also spun in with our alpaca fiber to give it memory. wool is Finally, we have 8 guardian dogs, of Akbash, Maremma, and Grand Pyrenees descent, which keep the coyotes and cougars away from our herds. Occasionally we breed one of our females for pups to sell.
