Mary Luttenegger is a seasoned library professional with 20 years of experience in circulation, reference, and collection development. As a Youth Services Director at Libraries, she successfully planned programs, ordered books, and promoted services for young adults. Prior to that, she worked as a Secretary at du Pont & Company Inc., utilizing her administrative skills to support the purchasing department. Mary holds an MLS degree from the University of Iowa, where she earned her degree in Library and Information Science in 1995. She also holds a Bachelor of Information Technology from Western Illinois University. Her expertise spans information literacy, library science, public libraries, library 2.0, information management, library instruction, collection development, virtual reference, and cataloging. Currently based in Burlington, Iowa, Mary continues to work at the Burlington Public Library, where she has been a key member of the team for over two decades. Her extensive experience and education have equipped her with the skills to effectively manage library operations and provide exceptional service to patrons.
