I was responsible for the development and implementation of marketing comms across the Precinct Properties portfolio, an NZX listed company valued at $4B as well as Generator NZ, NZ’s largest flexible workspace provider and a subsidiary of Precinct Properties.I was responsible for the management of a team of 5 to develop and execute through the line marketing activity, to promote and drive leasing across the Precinct Property Portfolio. I also developed the brand and strategy development of Willis Lane (willislane.nz), including media and channel planning for launch as well as ongoing promotional activity, site activation and customer / stakeholder engagement for ticket acquisition and consumer awareness.Within Generator I developed a new brand strategy to position Generator as a ‘challenger’ brand in the commercial property category, a strategy that surpassed leasing targets in Auckland. This also entailed launching Wellington’s first Generator site. This campaign surpassed leasing targets and was a finalist in the 2022 NZ Marketing Awards.

Smales Farm is rethinking what today's work environment should entail which is something I found very exciting, and was instrumental in bringing to fruition. I was responsible for the overall brand strategy and a key objective was evolving the perception that Smales Farm was just an office park. As such the activation of Smales Farm brand and the community within it was a primary focus. I implemented the social, digital and above the line media strategies and the internal and external marketing comms. I also ran the weekly placemaking and community activation programme and implemented iconic events such as the Takapuna Food & Wine Festival, Fiesta Del Sol and the Smales Farm Market. I also executed annual events such as the Smales Farm Outdoor Movie Season, STELLAR (an interactive light festival that celebrated Matariki) as well as numerous other events and activations for residents and the wider community.I was responsible for the marketing and leasing of office spaces including the B:HIVE - NZ’s largest and smartest co-working building, and voted 'best office in the world' at the 2019 World Architecture Festival in Amsterdam. I was involved with the B:HIVE from inception, creating a highly strategic and focused integrated marketing campaign that saw level one fully leased during construction, and the rest of the building leased within 12 months, 1 year ahead of expectations - 120 SME’s and over 900 residents. This campaign went on to be a finalist at the 2018 NZ Marketing Awards.I was also responsible for engaging and activating the community within the B:HIVE. This entailed keynote speakers, brand launches, workshops, toastmasters, table tennis tournaments, playstation championships, halloween activations, free drinks on Friday and numerous ’surprise and delights’.I also developed and launched the Goodside brand in 2018, the dining precinct at Smales Farm, as well as the continued customer attraction strategy and activation of the space.

I was with The Business for 5 years and whilst having a full service offering, it was more of a strategic marketing agency that focused on delivering smart, ‘solution neutral’ strategy in order to achieve real business results. Given the very small team I was involved in all decision making around running and growing the agency, whilst managing the delivery of integrated and complicated campaigns across the varied client portfolio. We launched several new brands from scratch that went on to achieve real business success and outsell established brands, and we were the most awarded agency at the 2014 TVNZ Marketing Awards. Over the past 5 years we've grown the client portfolio expotentially with acquisitions such as Dulux NZ, Constellation Brands, iSite Media and Douglas Pharmaceuticals as well as a number of smaller accounts that ecompassed the B2B and B2C spheres.

Senior Account Manager

After two years with Y&R I was offered a role at TBWA Whybin to manage the PlayStation, Visa New Zealand and Nissan New Zealand accounts. During my time at Whybins I developed a number of excellent campaigns, especially in the digital and social marketing arenas. I managed all three accounts with a great deal of autonomy whilst providing strategic leadership to both clients and external agency partners. During the last 8 months at Whybins I was part of a 2 man team managing 2degrees which provided me with invaluable experience. 2degrees was extremely challenging due to the numerous communication requirements that came from an ever expanding product offering. I was heavily involved in numerous product launches as well as the over arching brand campaigns. The combination of these accounts has armed with me with the skills to identify, nurture and develop great ideas into integrated campaigns.

After two years on L’Oreal, and the demise of McCann Erickson I moved to Y&R Auckland to work on Burger King and Arnott’s Campbells. Burger King was a great account as we managed all elements of their comms strategy which allowed me to gain valuable experience in TV production, brand strategy and how to recognise, develop and sell great ideas. Burger King’s marketing strategy was to focus on limited time offer (LTO) burgers which had us developing numerous, integrated campaigns. It was great experience in strategy, research, key messaging development, channel planning and execution. I had a key role in developing the new brand positioning for BK which lead to the ‘let nothing get in the way’ brand proposition and subsequent campaign. I was also heavily involved in launching BK’s premium burger offering, the Crown Jewels. Arnott’s Campbells had a great range of brands under their umbrella and they were my first taste ofworking with a FMCG client. Of most notable success was the re-launch of Vita-Weat into the market and refreshing the Farmbake cookies campaign, a brand that hadn’t been on TV since the hugely iconic ‘boy on the train’ TVC back in 1982.
