At this immigration law firm, I am assigned to, and work on, client cases from start to finish. In my first three weeks, I helped research, organize, and write an appellate brief to the Board of Alien Labor Certification Appeals in Washington, D.C. I have completed and assembled several Petition For Alien Relative I-130 Applications, including organizing bona fides of marriage, filling out all of the USCIS forms, and writing several cover letters. Similarly, I have also completed L-1A: Intracompany Transferee Executive or Manager visas, Petition I-485: Application to Register Permanent Status applications, DACA applications, I-131 Re-Enry Permits, I-129 Petitions for Nonimmigrant workers, DS-230 Applications for Immigrant Visas, and FOIA requests to EOIR, the Department of State, and USCIS. In order to complete these tasks, I have had to communicate successfully with various clients. In addition to this work, I also have written dozens of research memos on obscure areas of immigration law for the partners and associates at this law firm.
