Sole responsibility for Collections Management and Registration functions.• Communicate with donors in person and in writing including Deeds of Gift and thank you letters• Create and maintain object records using PastPerfect collection management software and also paper-based object files• Link image files and other digital content to catalog records • House, number, move and store objects • Coordinate Collections Committee meetings • Process incoming and outgoing loans and requests for reproduction rights • Arrange for packing and shipping of objects • Inventory objects in storage, reconciling physical objects to records in PastPerfect, and correct discrepancies including research and cataloging of objects found in collection • Create reports from PastPerfect • Participate in exhibition planning, department budgeting, and grant proposal development and status reporting. • Monitor gallery temperature and relative humidity using HOBO data loggers • Train and supervise a Collections Associate and a volunteer • Provide support as needed during programs and receptions.
