    Kiwanis Club of Manchester is a group of community-oriented people dedicated to enhancing, enriching and improving the lives of children and youth in our city. We do this through community service projects, fundraising efforts, and partnerships with area schools and organizations.Kiwanis Club of Manchester hosts two meetings a month at the Derryfield Restaurant. The lunchtime meeting is held on the first Monday of the month from 12 pm to 1 pm and the dinner meeting is held on the third Monday of each month from 5:30 pm to 7 pm.     NBT Bank, NA and Hampshire First Bank announced today the successful completion of their merger at the close of business on Friday, June 8, 2012. Hampshire First Bank is now a division of NBT Bank, an independent community bank based in upstate New York. The five banking centers operated by Hampshire First Bank in Manchester, Londonderry, Nashua, Keene and Portsmouth will continue to do business under the Hampshire First name. Terms of the deal were not announced.Hampshire Firstâ s founding President and CEO James Dunphy, who remains with the bank in the role of New Hampshire regional president, said that he is excited by the possibilities joining forces with NBT Bank creates. â NBT Bank is a community bank first and foremost. Through our partnership with NBT, our team of local banking professionals will continue to apply our local knowledge and decision-making skills to serve the needs of our customers and communities in southern New Hampshire. We have also gained access to the resources of a larger organization, giving us the ability to provide expanded services to our customers.âNBT Bank President and CEO Martin Dietrich echoed that sentiment saying, â We are excited to welcome Jim Dunphy and Hampshire First to the NBT Bank family.
