In my time at Chick-fil-A in Sand Springs I have helped move food cost from 3.4% of sales to 0.6%. I have also selected and coached a team of young in-store trainers and developed a complete training program utilizing the Trello web application.

While working at Chick-fil-A in Tulsa Hills, I was a part of the highest volume, and highest ranking speed of service stores in our stores’ market (8 total stores in Tulsa and surrounding areas). In 2017 we were among the top 2 drive thru’s in the nation. I worked mostly in the realm of food safety and facilities and maintenance. In my time at Tulsa Hills I increased our food safety self-audit participation scores from below 70% to 100% over a consistent period of seven months until our store closed for remodel. I also took on the task of training each employee in the restaurant on how to do these audits so they could be ensured to be completed on time, and also to help further cast the vision of what exactly our goals are in food safety. In the maintenance aspect of my role, I kept an updated schedule to delegate daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks. In June of 2019 I was the only manager in my tier of leadership that was asked to participate in an interview with corporate executives determining if my owner/operator would qualify for a second store.

While working as a traveling trainer some of my greater accomplishments include training individuals whose only language was Spanish, and twice I have trained deaf employees using my knowledge of American Sign Language. I have worked on deliverable results to give to stores before I depart and return to my home town. Overall I have traveled to 14 different locations to assist in pre-opening and grand opening training. I have been chosen as the lead trainer 4 times. Some of these locations include New York City, Atlanta, Houston, and Washington DC. I coach my trainees on food code, Chick-fil-A standards and holding times for product, back office procedures and cash management, as well as integrity, the vision of Truett Cathy himself and "Doing the right thing.", and always giving your best even when you may feel like you lack the skill or knowledge, to strive to get better and in the mean time make up for it in effort and attitude.
