    I trained as an actress in my undergraduate years, worked for 2 years at Berkeley Repertory Theatre, then moved to New York, where I trained with Lenore de Koven in Collaborative Theatre, working in teams of actors, directors and writers. I reached a point as an actress where I kept getting callbacks but was told I "looked like an ingenue, but read like a leading lady." That's when I transitioned into publishing as a writer/editor, but I kept directing and acting on a non-professional basis right to the present time. I plan to get my teaching credential this year and transitional to teaching theatre at the high school level because I re-found my passion there.
