Katie is a great team player, full of enthusiasm and has a can-do attitude. Katie is very versatile and can turn her wealth of fundraising and marketing skills and experience to most things. Katie is adept at building excellent relationships both internally and with supporters and would be a great asset to any organisation.

Working with Katie has been an absolute pleasure. She has maintained dedication and professionalism throughout the entirety of her post, and played a huge part in the success of the STATUS project to date. I have never come across someone so committed to their job who genuinely cares so much about what they are doing. Not only this but she is a great team player and a joy to have in the office - a real asset to any company.

Acting as the first point of contact for all enquiries and accountable for developing and sustaining productive networks with a cross-section of stakeholders, beneficiaries and local community in this role I was responsible for the success of this multi-organisation initiative. I was responsible for planning, promoting, marketing, branding, development and delivery of the project, its website and events. I liaised with young people, schools, police, youth service provisions, designers and businesses to ensure STATUS give young people a good user experience and engaged supporters. I also worked to deliver key messages regarding cyber bullying, anti-social behaviour and E-safety to the wider audience and give assemblies, presentations, and lessons to communicate this. STATUS events are crucial to the project; these proved successful, attracting around 200 young people each time. I planned, designed and promoted these. I encouraged corporate partners and all relevant youth organisations to engage with, and invest in, the project and events. In addition I was responsible for updating and managing the STATUS website, learning html code and using the content management system. Show less

I helped lead a team of 15-17 year olds through their summer programme of complex physical and educational activities. This role required strong motivation, mentoring and support of these young people to complete the week. I lead our team through reflection sessions in the evening to help recognize their achievements each day. I took on responsibility for helping my team design a project to carry out in their local community with the aim of benefiting its residents. This involved supporting and supervising the young people, many of whom had been out of mainstream education, whilst they created a business proposal for their plans to appeal for funding from services in their community. I also encouraged the young people to engage with their local community and charities to acquire permission and additional assistance. . Show less
