I joined the Senior Leadership Team when the school was in Serious Weaknesses with falling rolls. I combined the roles of Deputy Headteacher responsible for Teaching & Learning, and Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator. With determination and dedication we led the school to be designated Good by OFSTED. Teaching & Learning was Good. The school flourished becoming the most improved school in Manchester in 2012, and recognised by the DFE as one of the 100 most improved schools in the country for pupil progress.
