    This was a fascinating role where I worked as part of a small team tasked with researching potential M&A opportunities for JLT within emerging European markets. Over a 6-week period, I assessed a variety of big industry insurance broker firms against a number of metrics including: market share, growth, size and turnover. In addition to this, I would look at different European markets to assess opportunities for JLT to set-up new businesses. Towards the end of the 6-weeks, I put together a report for senior management that recommended various firms and markets where expansion, merger or acquisition could present lucrative opportunities. This was a challenging role that required strong analytical skills, attention to detail, the ability to cope with an ambiguous a wide scope, and a good understanding of the business and industry.
