I used current best practices in education to conceptualize and teach reading, writing, research, and grammar concepts for 10th grade students. I maintained a strong learning environment and communicated effectively with administration, faculty, and parents to ensure the success of about 80 English students per day. I also conceptualized and taught American Society Through Film as an English elective class to approximately 50 students per day. Additionally, I was the sophomore class adviser. I collected class dues, wrote receipts, made deposits, and maintained the dues spreadsheet for the sophomore class. I also scheduled, organized, and ran the class fundraiser each year motivating students to raise money for their prom and graduation by working with students and businesses to offer incentives the students would appreciate and enjoy.
