Perform consistency checks, data cleaning, and analysis on the baseline data setCoordinate the completion of the research, survey design and sampling strategy.Monitor implementation issues and developments affecting the impact evaluation and recommend solutions in collaboration with other members of the IE team.Work with the survey firm(s) to draft and refine questionnaires and communicate these discussions to the evaluation team.Ensure that the survey firms are on track with all preparation activities associated with data collection (e.g. permits and clearances, translations, back-translations, etc.) and communicate progress to the evaluation team.Participate in training and sensitizing of enumerators and field-testing of questionnaires.Supervise data collection and ensure that questionnaires are administered properly: informed consent has been taken; respondent is given the option of not responding to certain questions; and enumerators are asking questions in an appropriate way that both ensures the accuracy of data and preserves the dignity of respondents and record answers correctly.Verify that data entry is following the specified protocol. Data quality control: cross-check entered questionnaires against hard copies.Monitor that the program implementation does not compromise the impact evaluation design (e.g. those assigned to the comparison group are not being treated).Data management, specifically merging the panel data set, performing consistency checks, and ensuring a clean final data set is delivered by the survey firm.Support the IE research team in the preparation of an endline report

The workshop took place between 28th and 31st July, 2015 in Kigali, Rwanda.
