Maintain Fire Systems (mechanical and electrical) and Smoke/Fire Dampers for St. Luke’s Health Systems -Treasure Valley. My responsibilities include the systems in forty-five total facilities that includes Hospitals, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Emergency care facilities, and other clinical and non-clinical facilities. Coordinated and manage the operation of contracted personnel and staffed personnel that interact with the fire systems. Developed and maintain a standardize process for documenting test and inspection results for the requirements as established by CMS (Center for Medicare and Medicaid), The Joint Commission, State, Local, National, and Insurance code standards. Work closely with all aspects of the building maintenance department to insure proper operations of all system included those that are not interconnected with the fire system. Participated, and evaluated clinical and no-clinical staff while participating in safety drills, including fire drills with building evacuations.
