    🐾 Community-wide One Health Kisarawe Rabies Vaccination Campaign: Led and participated in a successful campaign where we vaccinated 1000 dogs and cats against rabies, promoting animal health and public safety. 🌍 One Health Education and Advocacy: Educated society on antimicrobial resistance, emphasized the importance of protecting animal health, and addressed communities on the One Health approach, raising awareness about the interconnectedness of human, animal, and environmental health. 🔬 Zoonotic Disease Awareness: Effectively communicated the causes, effects, and prevention strategies for zoonotic diseases, highlighting the critical role of disease prevention and control. 🦠 COVID-19 Awareness: Disseminated vital information to the community on ways to protect themselves against COVID-19, helping to mitigate the spread of the virus and promote public health. 📊 Data Collection and Analysis: Utilized GARC data loggers to accurately track and record the coverage of rabies vaccinations, ensuring comprehensive data collection for program evaluation and improvement. 💡 AFROHUN Hackathon Semifinalist: Demonstrated leadership as the team leader (Team Magufuri) and successfully reached the semifinals of the AFROHUN Hackathon, showcasing innovative problem-solving skills and a commitment to One Health solutions. 📣 Effective Communication: Served as a Communication Officer, effectively disseminating AFROHUN information throughout the SUA community, fostering engagement and awareness among students and faculty. 🤝 AFROHUN Alumni Coordinator: Currently spearheading efforts to mobilize SUA alumni for the upcoming Alumni Association, fostering a strong network of professionals dedicated to advancing One Health principles and initiatives.

    As a dedicated professional in the field of sustainable agriculture and community development, I have had the privilege of leading impactful projects that promote agroecological practices, gender equality, and sustainable livestock farming. Some of my key achievements include: 1. Facilitating, mobilizing, and conducting capacity building training for 1000 girls on agroecological practices, gender empowerment, and sustainable livestock farming. By empowering these girls with knowledge and skills, we have been able to foster sustainable agricultural practices and create opportunities for economic growth. 2. Collecting and compiling data related to field activities, success stories, and case studies for farmers groups. Through this data, we have been able to highlight the positive impacts of our projects on the well-being of beneficiaries, providing evidence of the transformative power of sustainable agriculture. 3. Establishing demo livestock farms, seasonal crop gardens, and vegetable gardens for beneficiary groups. These initiatives have not only improved access to nutritious food but also supported community livelihoods by providing sustainable income-generating opportunities. 5. Conducting participatory research with pastoralists to understand the challenges they face, particularly in relation to livestock diseases and the impacts of climatic changes on their livelihoods. Through this research, we have been able to develop resilient food systems and provide targeted support to pastoralist communities. 6. Educating and promoting sustainable pasture production by establishing reserved pasture areas for feeding livestock during drought seasons. This approach has contributed to mitigating the impacts of climate change and ensuring the well-being of both the animals and the communities that rely on them.Skills:1. Project Management 2.
