These videos were specifically created to inspire and motivate viewers, capturing the essence of athleticism and excellence.

    From 2008 to 2016, I had been organizing the annual "Just Play" sporting events, a free event aimed at the youth of the islands. St. John has always held a special place in my heart. Unfortunately, my plans to attend the 9th annual Just Play event in October were disrupted by the devastating hurricanes, Irma and Maria. I remember sitting in tears, deeply moved by the events unfolding on the island.As a musician, I decided to channel my emotions into something meaningful. I wrote a tribute song titled Love City Rise Up! "A tribute to the islanders of St. John U.S.V.I & their amazing resiliency through Hurricane Irma and beyond..." I recorded the basic tracks in Portland, Oregon, during the winter of 2018. In May, I traveled to St. John to collaborate with some of the island's finest singers, musicians, and choirs. Each individual added their own unique touch, turning this idea into a beautiful and heartfelt song.I am working directly with the St. John Community Foundation, which will ensure that the proceeds from CD sales are directed to the non-profit organizations on the island that have played a vital role in hurricane recovery efforts. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who donated their time and talent to make this project a reality, and especially for believing in me and the significance of this endeavor.     "Focus Virgin Island youth through sports and fitness, giving them the confidence they need to set personal goals, achieve their aspirations and create opportunity for themselves, their family and their community."I had the incredible opportunity to organize and produce the "Just Play" event that holds a special place in my heart. Despite living in Oregon, I took on the monumental task of coordinating this event, which takes place on the beautiful island of St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Although it was a challenging endeavor each year, I found immense joy in the process.Working closely with the St. John Community Foundation, who served as my fiscal agent, I assumed full responsibility for various aspects of the event. This included fundraising efforts, soliciting donations, managing advertising campaigns, handling event registrations for participants and volunteers, overseeing product orders and delivery (including trophies, event T-shirts, ball donations, posters, and flyers) to the USVI. Additionally, I was on-site to coordinate various activities such as securing water donations, setting up and tearing down tents, providing meals for participants, serving as the Master of Ceremonies, and overseeing the overall production.While it was undoubtedly a tremendous undertaking, I took great pleasure in bringing this event to life year after year. It was a testament to my dedication, passion, and love for St. John and its community.
