I am seconded to the Scottish Government, Health Analytical Services Division. I work in the the Resourcing Efficiency and Workforce Team specialising in analysis and modeling of pay data and workforce.I provide cost modelling and forecasting to aid contract negotiations for all NHS staff groups (AfC, Medical and Dental and Executive Senior Managers) and data that helps inform and shape policy, feed into ministerial briefings and answer PQs. As this topic is often 'hot' politically, the work is fast paced and always of the highest possible quality.I work closely with policy colleagues and analysts from the other constituent UK nations.
