Tit For Tat Collective was founded by Dannie Nicholson in 2019 in an effort to provide breast cancer survivors who lack financial means to pay for areola micro-pigmentation services. In 2020, our efforts have expanded to providing multiple resources facilitating a healthy and abundant cancer recovery journey in all aspects of the survivor's life journey. These resources include physical fitness, nutrition, post-traumatic therapy and counseling, meditation, and provider/services information. We aim to provide the public with an unbiased repository and wide breadth of information as it relates to breast cancer treatment, reconstruction and recovery. We will be launching new aspects of the website in the future, and will be holding multiple fundraiser events this Summer and Fall. We look forward to the adventure ahead!

I am a highly motivated art director who strives not only for innovative and fresh creative approaches but strategically sound solutions. My attention to detail and sophisticated typography skills translate into an elegant and clean style. With experience in strategy, analytics, print, identity, branding, interactive, film/video, advertising, and packaging design, I demonstrate expertise in overseeing and managing all aspects of the design process. Being part of a team and working in a creative environment where there is dynamic communication is important to me. I look to surround myself with motivated and talented individuals who care as much about each other as they do the work.

Certified by the American Academy of Micropigmentation, I am the only certified Areola Specialist in Idaho offering 3 dimensional areola micropigmentation through a breast reconstruction plastic surgeon. I only practice out of a provider’s office, as my services are not covered by insurance otherwise. As a breast cancer survivor myself, this is an important distinction. I believe that this service should and must be covered by insurance providers as part of the breast cancer survivor’s reconstruction. This has been an important and fulfilling part of my personal recovery, and I find great purpose in this work and the part it plays in the healing process for these women.

As a Senior Art Director at Drake Cooper, I was responsible for anything and everything from identity wrangling, strategic epiphanizing, brand love, typographic prowess, concept concocting, marketing mojo, photography and copywriting, to loading the dishwasher—because I'm a mom and I just can’t help myself. While at Drake Cooper and currently, I find myself most fulfilled and inspired developing creative strategy, backed by human insight, and transforming that into resonant creative storytelling that crosses multiple media types and touchpoints.Though I no longer work for DC full-time, I still enjoy my freelance relationship with them, and find myself continuing to create phenomenal work with these inspiring people.
