Education is an American right and universal responsibility. Quality education is the life blood of a progressive society. It is the duty of a responsible citizenry to ensure access and opportunities for every member of society to have a basic education. The founders of the American union expressed this idea as a social and religious necessity, and as being among the first principles for the establishment of an enduring and erect society. It is therefore incumbent upon each American to safeguard and promulgate the advancement of educational opportunity and excellence among the citizenry of the nation. In the twenty-first century, technology will be the foundational platform upon which education programs will be erected. The study of current and future impacts and benefits of technology in education are the core focus of my Doctoral research.
