Provide technical expertise with research, and analysis for the RP Group, a California nonprofit organization that strives to build a community college culture that views planning, evidence-based decision-making, and institutional effectiveness as integral, collaborative strategies that work together to promote student success. Assigned to short-term special projects that involved mining the RP Listserv to inventory email strings that identified an issue or question about the Student Success Metrics, Vision for Success Goals, and Student Equity and Achievement Program reporting to curate a document that provided solutions offered by the field. Developed a crosswalk between the Guided Pathways pillars and the Student Success Metrics with an examination of possible leading and lagging indicators that could be used to forecast or track a colleges ability to effect positive changes in key areas related to the Student Success Metrics and to monitor progress with Guided Pathways efforts. Current member of the Multiple Measures Assessment Project (MMAP) research team who works directly with the California Community Colleges Chancellors Office by supporting and conducting qualitative and quantitative research to better understand the effects on equitable English and math placement and outcomes for all students and evaluate the implementation AB 705 system wide.

Responsibilities: Provide leadership in the development, implementation, and assessment of district research, planning and student success initiatives. Supported strategic planning, accreditation, educational master planning, strategic enrollment management, data integrity and accuracy efforts, IPEDS, MIS, and SCFF validation. Participate as a contributing member or resource on district governance committees, always working collaboratively: District Consultation and Coordination Council, District Services Executive Team, District, College, and Academic Senate Leadership Group.

Participate as a contributing member or resource on a wide variety of college and district governance committees and appointed district and college workgroups/taskforces, always working collaboratively: District Consultation and Coordination Council, Planning and Budget Committee, Outcomes Workgroup, Program Review Workgroup, Strategic Enrollment Management Workgroup, and Distance Education Committee.
