Owned and operated the oldest standing restaurant in the City of Boise, ID for five years. Moon’s Kitchen Café was originated in 1955. It is still in operation with two outlets to this day. When purchased this restaurant had many negative issues concerning environmental health, building safety, product quality and customer satisfaction. Through hard work, strategic marketing and community outreach these issues were rapidly reversed. Upon rescuing this well known Boise icon I sold it to peruse other challenges. Operations included daily P&L statements, inventory, ordering products / supplies, scheduling employees, marketing, book keeping, payroll, customer interaction, community outreach, continuously training a staff of 25 employees in environmental health standards, customer service and food preparation / presentation, bar service, line cooking, creation of menu offerings & daily specials, on / off site catering,
