Well Scouting, Petrophysical Log joining, Document Scanning, QHSE.Autumn 2005, undertook a data management pilot, for Shell Aberdeen, relating to the cataloguing and scanning of well data documents, on the Well File Scanning Project. This led to liaising closely with the Shell set-up team and ultimately I wrote the technical manual for the client. As Deputy, helped set up areas of contractor project ahead of commencement. Petrophysical Log joiningDatabase Geoscientist – NAM WDQ Project (Aberdeen) This was probably the industries, first large data management rationalisation project. WDQ = Well Data QualityAllowed NAM to re-open the Schoonenbeck oil field with data sets undertaken by project. Checked, edited and compiled a definitive set of petro-physical logs, from 700 onshore Netherlands oil and gas wells. Processed and stored in the Recall corporate database. Project established the BHI Atlas Online Business unit. Later corporate re-organisation closed the project and unit down, leading to redundancy

Well safety and geology biased work. I worked mainly remote locations, such as Chad, Algeria, Libya, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Kenya, Tunisia plus UK, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden.
