Led the way for Landscape Boards across the state to transition Landscape Board business information into new ownership and management frameworks in response to a machinery of government directive. Successfully designed, negotiated and implemented a new knowledge management strategy and transitioned the Murraylands and Riverland Landscape Board (MRLB) whilst also taking the opportunity to implement many knowledge management improvements. Other landscape boards have sought my guidance to enact their own transition to ensure their systems are set up with user experience in mind, and compliance with relevant legislation is achieved.Helped create the Department for Environment and Water’s Managing Environmental Knowledge tools & guidelines package, rolled out and piloted it in MRLB, and integrated it into regular business as one approach towards info management best practice. Currently working towards knowledge management maturity in MRLB by providing strategic direction, advice, support, documentation & training for systems, processes, guidelines & strategies.Responsible for ensuring the region’s operational planning, monitoring and reporting systems are developed, implemented, maintained and reviewed along with data extraction, analysis and presentation to provide business insights.The role incorporates a business analyst function; reviewing systems, responding to changing business needs, and leading business information developments & improvements; this includes problem definition, requirements elicitation, system documentation, identification and analysis of available solutions leading to recommendations for adoption.Represents MRLB and SA Landscape Boards on working groups and communities-of-practice to ensure ideas are shared, regional information management is considered in collaborative developments, and regional, state-wide and national information management priorities and standards are considered and aligned to within regional developments.
