UNHCR – Shelter and NFI (Non-Food Item) Cluster, Support Officer responsible for cluster coordination and management of the IM unit • Supported and worked closely with the Shelter/NFI Cluster Coordinator, including the day-to-day coordination tasks of the cluster and engagement with members. UNHCR – Shelter and NFI Cluster, Information Management Officer for the Cross Border response in North-West Syria• Completed all required IM tasks and supported the overall technical coordination with the cluster partners. Main IM tasks for the Cluster included: 4W data collection, partner coordination and guidance, monthly data cleaning, analysis and product creation as well as reporting to UN OCHA and Whole of Syria.• Improved existing and developed new IM products, GIS mapping and visualization/graphic design procedures and tools for the cluster products to enhance and accelerate monthly tasks and reporting. This includes: developing user-friendly reporting formats in consultation with key partners, with provisions for gender and age disaggregation of data and reporting of groups with specific needs/facing particular protection risks- Collected, compiled, aggregated and analyzed cluster data and information elements required to produce standardized information products to facilitate coordination among the partners engaged with the Protection Cluster response- Designed and implemented the Protection Cluster’s information flow and feedback mechanism among partners to strengthen coordination in consultation with Cluster Coordinators and in line with inter-agency information management process- Implemented, supported and leveraged GIS for contextual and analytical map and infographic production related to the protection response- Participateed in IM coordination meetings/working groups. This includes: proactively gathering information from other Clusters/organizations which may be of use to the Protection Cluster, working closely with OCHA on humanitarian situation reports, cross-sector IM and analysis at the strategic level through the establishment of systems and processes needed for effective information sharing with cluster partners
