First one in, last one out of the office? Doing what you’re not good at or shouldn’t be done by you at all? You’re trading your precious me and family time, with extra office hours. And I know, this makes you feel like a bad parent, spouse, and boss. It was fun building your business at first, but it has started to take a toll. And although you give your absolute best, it’s never enough. This is THE trap every CEO falls into. I know it because that’s what happened to me when I led my first team. It was only when I successfully developed a system that integrated my expertise in leadership, management, and computer science - that things changed for the better. And as a result, my team and I became more productive, and had more fun, while doing less! Was it easy? No, not at first. Finding the right tools and perfect structure needed quite a bit of work. First, we identified the tasks at hand and the required skills to define roles based on them. The next step was to look at our processes and improve them step by step with an agile approach. Each team member brought ideas to the table. Love it, Change it, or Leave it became a standing procedure. And then, when I became a CEO, I further honed my system: - Focused on tasks that pushed the business forward and delegated, or stopped doing any “busy work”. - Hired to complement the business’s shortcomings. - Built an outstanding business, not just teams, based on trust, personal values, strengths, skills, and motivation. - Smoothly ran the tech department from hiring, to software development, to customer service. This allowed everyone to focus on what we did best, and on the impact we could have on its success. We successfully scaled from 6 to 7 digits. Today, I’m here to make your business thrive again.
