Youth Development Executives of King County (YDEKC) is a diverse coalition of leaders representing youth-serving community based and nonprofit organizations across King County, Washington. School’s Out Washington serves as our host agency and fiscal sponsor. Founded in 2011, YDEKC has over a hundred member organizations and continues to grow. OUR MISSION: YDEKC connects, strengthens, and amplifies the leaders of youth serving organizations so that all Black, Indigenous, and youth of color thrive. OUR VISION: Every young person has the opportunity to learn, lead, work, thrive, contribute and connect with active support from organized, networked and unified youth development efforts in King County. WHO WE ARE: Executive Directors, CEOs and other key leaders of non-profit organizations directly serving youth ages five through young adulthood within King County.
