Overview

Hello and thank you for visiting our page. We want to share the energy we have for putting communities at the heart of their development. We are an independent social value consultancy that empowers communities to influence change and share their lived experience through research, community development, evaluation and training. We have strong ethical approach and values, with an emphasis on being inclusive, respectful and accessible. We encourage: • participation of communities and service providers • learning and sharing across projects and initiatives • working together to achieve better outcomes for communities • the listening to and sharing of lived experience to have a real impact on change • clients to learn from the experience of working with us and transfer our knowledge to them so they can use it after our project finishes. We use a range of frameworks and models to support good practice, and have experience of tools such as participatory appraisal, participative consultation, and planning and evaluation tools as well as developing evaluation frameworks using a theory of change approach. We are passionate about supporting everyone working with communities and as part of our work, we offer a range of CPD accredited Community Development training courses as well as bespoke courses tailored to the needs of groups and organisations.
