We believe that the World is a better place + that we all get more when everyone gives a little… we believe that we are stronger when we stand, work + grow together.. + that there is un-limited value when you find compelling, inspiring new ways to bring people together #thepowerisournetwork, #togetherwearestronger Operating in the heart of local Communities we connect, curate and galvanise a ‘Network’ of Members (startups + coworkers), Partners (Councils, Community groups, Third Sector organisations, small + large businesses) + Individuals (Wellness Providers, Performers, Makers, Mentors + Investors) through the creation of affordable physical space and a connected, inclusive online network, both of which are underpinned by the CIC Engage Programme of work / life events + experiences, the objective, growth, balance + value for all. OUR 4X AIMS: 1. To support Public libraries – relevant, sustainable, open for all 2. To empower local entrepreneurs + startups – inspired + connected 3. To build stronger communities – cohesion, resilience + opportunity 4. To support local authorities – economic / social innovation + value Established in 2013, the Wimbletech CIC Project has 1 x vision, 3 x brands, 10 x sites, 300+ community events, 400+ members, 500+ jobs created, 000’s library event attendees / visitors, £250k+ generated in income for libraries, £1.5m local spending, £000’s reinvested back into library buildings, 000’s of hours saved in commuting, £ms raised by members as they startup, stay up + grow up in their local community… #togetherwearestronger!
