Waverley Labs is a pioneer of open source software-defined perimeters (SDP), Zero Trust and provides infosec solutions for Federal agencies and commercial enterprises. Founded by Juanita Koilpillai, the principals of Waverley Labs earned a reputation as creative and innovative problem solvers developing first-of-its-kind systems like security information and event management system, modern air traffic control system, and document management system. The company features a team of cyber analysts and software developers focused on how to integrate security controls into applications at build time - enabling the pivot from “trust everything” inside the perimeter to “trust nothing.” Authorization control with enforcement ensures secure application access. This pivot features an application approach reducing dependence on VPNs for high risk, critical applications. Waverley Labs solves complex information security challenges, winning several Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) research grants – most recently with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to develop the industry’s first Dynamic AccessIDTM Network to improve identity proofing on the fly for crisis and emergency managers.
