Overview

vTail was born in the spring of 2020. We saw an unmet need for a modern solution for the exchange of information between clinicians and product companies. Beyond sales, this interface fuels clinician education, the generation of clinical evidence and continued product innovation. Within any clinical area, there already exists an ecosystem of clinicians, admin teams, service providers, companies, CROs, distributors, innovators, and educators. But communication between these is stifled. The information is there, but fragmentated. Clinicians don’t reach out for help or support because they typically don’t even know who their assigned company contacts are. Our vision is of a super-connected healthcare ecosystem. We are auto-connecting its individuals, groups and organizations, and enabling the efficient flow of information between these. Since 2020 the founders have successfully raised investment capital, built a team (20+), and launched a minimum viable product in our beachhead markets (wound care in spring 2021, and US dental in spring 2022). vTail now has thousands of registered clinicians and agreements with 70+ companies. For clinicians, vTail is evolving into a free super-app that places their product world into the palm of their hand. It gives them instant access to their local reps, allowing them to reach out by HIPAA-secure and spam-free chat messages, audio, or video calls. It gives them instant product information, access to tailored news, education, and private group chats with their peers. Companies pay for their presence on vTail. They see it as a completely new channel for interactive sales, marketing, clinical education, and research. As we build the network, vTail holds out the promise of improved access and more cost-effective engagement in a way that clinicians don’t find intrusive or annoying.
