Overview

VIA University College is Denmark’s largest University College and covers all of Central Jutland. We have: - Approx. 18,000 students - More than 40 bachelor degree programmes - Approx. 2,000 employees - 7 campuses VIA University College is Denmark’s third-largest educational institution and offers bachelor degree programmes within the areas of health, social education, technology, trade, design, business and animation. VIA also offers continuing education and lifelong learning programmes and participates in various development activities in the region. VIA has cooperation-agreements with educational institutions almost all over the world and the focus is on student mobility, on cooperation between lecturers and on long-term development and research projects. VIA has 18 Research Centres which ensure that the focus is always on new and relevant knowledge in order to develop the bachelor degree programmes. VIA is a certified holder of an extended ERASMUS charter under the EU's Lifelong Learning Programme and is also an independent state-recognised Higher Education Institution. The study programmes are approved by the Danish Ministry of Education.
