United Barbell was created in 2010 to provide a new kind of CrossFit gym - one that was radically inclusive. We take pride in providing a safe space for people who have never felt like the fitness world welcomed them. United Barbell is 100% women-owned and staffed by LGBTQ and allies. We serve competitive athletes, people who have never identified as athletic in their lives, masters athletes, adaptive athletes, pregnant athletes, kids - in other words, all kinds of people! Our athletes train for diverse reasons that don’t begin and end with looking good naked.
