The Natural Step Israel is the local branch of an international non-profit organization, working since 1989 to help individuals and organizations take meaningful steps towards sustainability. Our vision is a sustainable world in which the human society is healthier, just, ecologically concerned and happier; A thriving society within nature’s limits. Our mission is to help catalyze the needed transition of major actors towards a thriving society, by using sustainability principles as decision making, design and innovation tools. Our work is about weaving the robust, scientific framework for strategic sustainable development, with the accumulative experience of practical implementation of strategic sustainability in dozens of organizations, to train and advise organizations, as well as to design and facilitate processes of deep change, capacity building and sustainability implementation in various organizations. Our projects take various shapes, and are often tailor made. Our main channels of activities are: Sustainability Transition Lab - A collaborative model that aims to solve complex and cross sectorial challenges. Capacity Building- Through Training, Coaching and Process Design. Joyful Impact Projects - Projects that target the general public and aim to spark conversation, thought and action through various medium of arts.
