The ILGBC was established in early 2007 as a non-profit organization. The ILGBC is uniquely supported by industry, government and academy, together with leading professional, social and environmental organizations. Within a short time, the council gained strong support based on this wide, cross-sector representation and the immediate need to support and promote this initiative. For the last 3 years, the ILGBC has striven to develop a robust working plan compatible with international GBC standards, and thereby has achieved Emerging Status with the World GBC. http://www.ilgbc.org/ Show less
