Overview

Hi, I'm Federica Viero. At The Intercultural Lab, I help companies and organizations manage and leverage the impact of cultural diversity on their people. Cultural diversity is a powerful asset that can trigger competitive advantage and people engagement. The three ways I support people and organizations along this journey: ✔ Intercultural and inclusive leadership training for employees and leaders new to Sweden, tailored to individuals or smaller groups, remote and/or in-person. Although half of my trainees in this tier are executives, leadership capabilities are for everyone. We all fiercely need to stay true to ourselves *and* to ensure that we step into a new role as inclusive colleagues and leaders, finding alignment with the complexity of our current reality too. ✔ Global mindset, unconscious bias and future-of-work workshop series and events for diverse teams (management teams, competence teams, HR) and larger audiences, remote, hybrid or in-person. Thanks to the emergence of DE&I, intercultural competence is finally experiencing a much needed renewal, away from old models, and supportive of the post-covid future of work. This opens up unique opportunities to optimize the flow of work and the flow of learning in a constellation of distributed work across teams, cultures, spaces. ✔ Career mentoring for internationals in Sweden and for organizations that care about them - educated, skilled, experienced foreign-born professionals. In this capacity I hold individualized career programs, from outlining a career plan to culturally sensitive interview role-playing. I also lecture regularly at Universities and events on the topics of intercultural negotiation; decoding the Swedish culture, society and workplace; succeeding into the Swedish job market as foreign academics and professionals.
