Overview

The FISH of Roseburg is a non-profit organization that provides emergency basic needs to our friends and neighbors during their difficult times. The FISH Food Pantry was founded in 1971 by local churches in response to the need to provide emergency food to low-income families. Our mission is to assist in reducing hunger within the community, and responding with compassion to the needs of families and persons in crisis. The FISH seeks to show concern for our neighbors by assisting as a safety net for unmet needs of food, shelter and transportation. The FISH Food Pantry is the largest of Douglas County's 15 emergency food pantries and currently serves an average of 1,050 Douglas County households per month, including over 4,200 people. Almost one-third of those served are children.
