Founded in 1962, the American School of Barcelona is a private, coeducational day school positioned as a leading center of international education in Europe. Located in Esplugues de Llobregat (Barcelona), the school currently has close to 1000 students from more than 60 countries, offering a world-class education to both international and Spanish students. The American School of Barcelona offers educational programs in the Early Childhood Center, Elementary, Middle and High School, and was the first international school in Barcelona to offer the prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP).
