I had the pleasure of working with Hélène a few years ago at Merit School UPC. Hélène’s positive energy made her a great team player but she also worked well independently. She was always open to learning and improving her skills, which showed in her teaching. She started mid-course with some difficult groups but rose to the challenge admirably. She was generally flexible too, being open to teaching different age groups and courses. What’s more, she showed a willingness to be observed and the ability take feedback on board and incorporate it into her teaching practice. While Hélène is a great English teacher, I’d be confident in recommending her for any role which requires an open-minded, determined and active team player.

Despite the limited time mentoring and tutoring Hélène during the UI for UX Design course, she proved to be a diligent and enthusiastic student. Her curiosity demonstrated her eagerness to learn and improve her skills, as well as ways to work smarter by taking advantage of the most up-to-date techniques. It was also notable her ability to take critical feedback positively, and use it to enhance her work consistently. She listened carefully, absorbed my feedback effectively, and never hesitated to exhaust all the questions to ensure that she fully understood the real problems behind the visual challenges she faced: her willingness to strive for the optimal solution was admirable and reflected in her work. Overall, it was an absolute pleasure mentoring Hélène, and I have no doubt that she will continue to excel in her professional endeavors. She has what it takes to start a successful journey in the Product Design field!
