"Shamkir Agropark" LLC is the first agricultural project in "Agropark" format in South Caucasus. According to the order to establish agroparks rising from "the Decree of April 16, 2014 on measures for improving management in agricultural sector and acceleration of institutional reforms by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan", during the president's visit of 15.11.2014 to Shamkir, the foundation of Shamkir Agropark logistics center was laid. "Shamkir Agropark" Logistics Center, the foundation of which was laid with the participation of the president of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, in 2014, was opened in 20.08.2017. The complex is a business project considered to operate internationally. "Shamkir Agropark"'s business is based on modern technologies for production, logistics and sales. The establishment of Agropark will play a significant role in increasing the country's export value and the geographic expansion, creating national brands, improving the innovation skills of small and medium farmers, the extensive application of intensive methods, forming a single system in agricultural sector, as well as integration relations among the producer, manufacturer and consumer, achieving high productivity, training specialized personnel in agricultural sector and opening new jobs.
