In ancient times rose petals and rose water were commonly used in the Azerbaijan. Local Artizans were producing rose water for centuries. But the first large farms of fragrance flowers were created in 1950s in Sheki-Zagatala region. That’s when industrial rose oil production began .Quickly became the main ingredient for entire perfume and cosmetic industry in Soviet Union. There was brief period in the country history ,when Rose oil was forgotten. Only to be reestablished in 2016 by our company … WHO WE ARE? The "Lecheq Farm & Distillery" was established in 2016. The Farm & Facility’s primary activities are formulated around Rose Damascena, Lavender Augustofolia and Mentha Piperita Farms .We also experiment with other plants grown in Azerbaijan. Our strategy is to provide high quality, natural raw materials to fragrance, cosmetics, aromatherapy industries. We cultivate our plants on 183 ha: Roses – 145 Ha, Lavender 36 Ha, Peppermint – 2 Ha. Our production facility is located on another 3 ha. The Farm&Distillery is compactly located in Zagatala region of Azerbaijan, high in Great Caucasian Mountains. OUR PRODUCTION LINE The equipment used for oil refining was purchased from the worlds leading companies in this field, and the production team had regular production trainings. Our modern facility is built based on industry standards and consist 13 copper distillery tankers and 2 Veronica pots with total capacity of 1500 tons.
